TWE: Day 2

Day 2: Monday, March 31

  • Exercise: scheduled day off triathlon training; 30 minute walk, approximately 30 minutes of dancing (burlesque rehearsal)

I was super hungry when I got home from work, and I knew dinner wouldn’t be for a couple of hours. I scoured my kitchen for a small, healthy snack that would satisfy. Rejected a light string cheese stick and a nutrigrain bar in favor of this 3-week old apple that was starting to wither. I cut that sucker up, tossed it with a teaspoon of sugar and cinnamon, and fried it in a little bit of light butter. WHAT UP, it was delicious.

So, I just finished lunch and I read “I scoured my kitchen for a small, healthy snack that would satisfy.” and my brain immediately said “Snickers bar!” to which I respond with WTF, brain, we haven’t even done our morning yoga yet today because OVERDUE SCHOOL PROJECT, AAAAHHHH! – I know you’re stressed but NO. Successful marketing FTL. I do have a handful of Planters Peanuts and a square of dark chocolate around here somewhere, though…
